I am a freelance illustrator and portrait artist.
I use inks, egg tempera and particularly love watercolours although often a plain old pencil is satisfying in its directness.
Artwork created by hand represents time. The minutes and hours I can find for personal work are infinitely precious to me and each day is driven by creativity.

Hi Lucy
I checked out you website after receiving my lunar calendar today… thanks so much , I really love it and I loved the hare little drawing on the packaging. I sed to draw unicorns on my letters etc when I was younger… don’t know why I stopped really, got old and sensible I suppose.
Do you paint/draw foxes? The fox/vixen has inveigled it’s way into my life over the years and funnily enough I had a vivid dream about a giant, well Narnia sized one this week.
I love the calendar and am going to frame it so thanks so much

Hey I was wondering if you were going to do a Lunar Calendar for 2013?
Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
Sadly I have not been able to produce a Northern Hemisphere calendar for 2013 as have moved to Australia for the time being, where postage to Europe and USA are much higher and I was concerned that it would be too much for people to pay. I also used to make up the print run costs by selling bulk quantities to a couple of retail outlets in th UK, however because I am not there, this was more difficult logistically and the shops were not prepared to place pre orders.
Because the calendar takes over a month of work to draw and paint, I could not afford to take a risk and decided not to do it. However, now I regret that as I have been approached by so many lovely people who enjoyed the 2012 edition.
Perhaps I should take heart and aim to make one for 2014.
Thank you so much for your kind message and sorry to disappoint.
🙂 Lucy
continuously i used to read smaller articles which as well clear their motive, and that is also happening
with this piece of writing which I am reading at this place.
